Meet the Main Stage Artists

The Going Country Festival brings together five exceptional country music performers for an unforgettable evening in the Upper Hunter.

The Lineup

Get ready for a lineup of live country music, featuring rising stars and crowd favourites from across the region.

The Wet Whistles

The Wet Whistles began when four Brisbane pub singers were sharing a few drinks, playing music, and someone uttered those five famous words heard at everykick-ons..."We should start a band!"

Now, two years and countless beers later, their stomp and holler country shows have become synonymous with big nights and sore heads across Australia. Guitarists Caillin Malley and Nick Trovas, alongside brothers Jordan and Jake Hill on percussion and banjo, win over new fans with their unique sound. Beyond the party atmosphere, all four members share lead vocal duties, with their rich four-part harmonies at the heart of the signature Wet Whistles sound.
